Dr. Moira Tucker
Dr. Moira Tucker is a Pediatric Anesthesiologist who brings a wealth of experience in safely dealing with pediatric patients. She is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist as well as subspecialty board certified in Pediatric Anesthesia, and is the leader of our Sedation Team. She is also currently the Section Head of SAFARI (Safe Anesthesia for All Remote Interventions) at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Dr. Tucker received her medical degree and completed her initial internship at the National University of Ireland in 1992. She pursued an additional internship in Internal Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation where she also completed a 3 year residency in Anesthesia in 1998.
Dr.Tucker went on to complete further training in Pediatric Anesthesia at Akron Children’s Hospital. She received her Anesthesia Board Certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology in 2001, and then went on to become one of the first Pediatric Anesthesia Board certified anesthesiologists at is first offering in 2013.
Dr. Moira Tucker has been in practice at the Cleveland Clinic Childrens Hospital department of Pediatric Anesthesia since 2009. Prior to this she was staff at Akron Childrens Hospital for three years and spent over a year in Regional Practice at the Crystal Clinic in Akron, Ohio.
